Eorzean Inquiry Scavenger Hunt

This isn’t your normal sightseeing log. Embark around ARR and HW areas, exploring areas of Eorzea you’ve never seen before!

Eorzea is a huge place, but sometimes you might miss some of the small details when you’re working through that MSQ! That’s where this LunarCon mini-game comes in. We’ve hand selected some beautiful areas for you with thanks to our lovely volunteers to find on your own or with some friends while you enjoy the festivities. Take time appreciating all the lovely work the map designers performed, and who knows, you might find some new Gpose locations in the process!

Starting on Friday the 29th through Sunday the 31st, we’ll be releasing special sets of locations for you to find through curated screenshots of the area each day. Don’t worry about needing the Endwalker expansion to complete this mini-game. All photo locations are either in A Realm Reborn or Heavensward areas so even a free trial player will be able to do this challenge. Make sure to be filling your form with the locations as stated in the rules below!

Rules:

  • Each day, a new form with different locations for you to find will be released. Make sure to complete all three (3) forms!
  • Failure to complete all the forms will unfortunately disqualify you from this mini-game.
  • Using the linked Google forms below marked by each day, you’ll be filling out the location clued in the provided images.
  • You must get 90% of the areas correct to be placed on all 3 forms in order to be eligible to be placed into the raffle!
  • Please submit your forms for each person if you play in a group. “Group scoring” will void that form.
  • Please only submit only one form for each day! Multiple forms will disqualify you.
  • The results and winners will be announced on Twitter after LunarCon so please keep an eye out for that!
  • Deadline will be on Sunday the 31st at Midnight PST (3AM EST on the 1st)!
  • You will be contacted after scoring if you are a winner, so please make sure you provide good contact information!
  • When filling out the form, you’ll be providing the name of the Map you’re on in addition to the landmark you’re visiting. Please try to correctly spell each part, for ease of Judging. For example:‍
  • Mor Dhona, Rising Stones‍
  • Failure to prove one part of the answer will result in that answer being incorrect
  • If one part is wrong, the answer will be considered incorrect.
  • All the areas are in the overworld meaning they are not in the following: instanced areas, housing wards, dungeons, or private areas.
  • The ability to fly may be required to reach some of these areas.
  • None of the areas are Out-of-Bounds or using any glitches to get to those areas.‍
  • (Ahro’zi here, dropping a Hint for all you exploring eager to win: All locations will be spots that have the little Red Pins on the map, which indicates that the location is a landmark.)
